About Us

Hi! I'm Azzurra, the founder of Italoposters. I was born and raised in Venice, but I've been living abroad for a few years.

Italoposters was born from the desire to fill a gap that I deeply felt: to bring a touch of home into my spaces, something that truly spoke of my Italy, without stereotypes, but with authenticity and love.

Every poster I create is a celebration of our culture: the smell of a Sunday lunch, the melody of a regional dialect, the sayings that make us laugh or think, the songs that unite us, and the events that make us feel part of something big.

Living far away has taught me how precious our roots are. I imagined that many other Italians abroad, students away from home or simply lovers of our culture felt the same desire to surround themselves with images that evoke memories, emotions and pride.

Not finding what I was looking for – only banal and stereotyped images – I decided to create something new: modern, colorful, and above all authentic designs, capable of telling stories and moving people. Each Italoposters illustration is designed to bring a piece of Italy everywhere, whether in an Amsterdam flat, a kitchen in Barcelona or a student room in Bologna.
